No mes de Julho ocorreu próximo à cidade de Alto Paraíso - GO, o primeiro Encontro Brasileiro de Astrofotografia. Este encontro reuniu alguns dos mais ativos astrofotografos do Brasil. O encontro foi muito bem organizado pelo Casb (Clube de Astronomia de Brasilia). The meeting happened near Alto Paraiso, a small city near one of the biggest national parks in Brasil. This is a very arid region, with low humidity (10% - 20%), cold weather (around 8C) and more than 100 meter high in central Brasil.
