DETROIT - At a time when recreation areas are closing from lack of funds, HUMMER and the nonprofit Tread Lightly! are partnering with the U.S. Forest Service and volunteers from local four-wheel-drive clubs to maintain a section of the popular Bald Mountain OHV route, located in the Sierra National Forest, east of Fresno, Calif. The project is the second trail maintenance event supported by a new Tread Lightly! program called HUMMER's Recreation Rescue.
