Carl Rogers (1902-1987), agnostic, publishes his Client-Centered Therapy in 1951. Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), raised Jewish, atheist, is famous for his hierarchy of needs and for helping to develop Humanistic Psychology or Third-Force Psychology with Carl Rogers and Rollo May, influenced by Existentialist thought and in reaction against Behaviorism. A. A. Allen, Christian fundamentalist, one of the first ministers to develop a national television heard or seen on fifty-eight radio stations daily and forty-three TV stations.
