Born in 1968 in Santiago of Chile. He arrived in France in 1973, with his family who ran from the regime of Pinochet. After studying psychology at Paris X University, he devoted himself to photography as an autodidact. His first work was about the district where he grew up in a Parisian suburb, at Colombes. He worked as a photographer for the town hall. In 1996, he embarked on a Polish cargo boat, for a 45-day trip to Chile. He created the first photographers Agency in Chile, IMA (Imagen Memoria Autor). In 2003, he was the organizer of the exhibition in Perpignan, which related the work of 4 Chilean photographers during the dictatorship. Since 2005, he has been living in Valparaiso, city that he has never stopped to photograph. His photographic work focuses on Latina America. He has an on-going work until 2010: an assignment of the Chilean State on the social isolation in Chile.
