It was expected from a time announcement of Internet giant Google to develop an operating system is finally done on the Google Blog with an official announcement that we learned the name of this SE, Chrome OS. They are probably already with lots of applications developed by Google, a system that encompasses all and offer more easily to the user.

This operating system is planned for the web and has been designed around the core of the browser “Google Chrome“, released last September. Its advantages: fast and light to use and web access “in a few seconds.”

The question that arises is surely the need for such a SE facing the presence of Microsoft Windows, Apple OS and various Linux distributions, there are already Linux distributions provided for the web, others for security, etc.. Why Google’s leaders have chosen this time to announce the release of this operating system, scheduled for notebooks during the 2nd quarter of 2010?

Google has since its beginning su attack other markets like Microsoft with its Office Suite of the coup a theory that may be interesting, Google has chosen to announce its Chrome SE OS not to compete with Microsoft on the systems market holdings, but so that the Redmond company is devoting more time to its Windows OS to the detriment of the new version of its search engine Bing.
