The North and South of the Costa Blanca are quite different and attract different tourists. The mountains are some of the largest in Spain and edge right to the coast enhancing the dramatic scenery. Denia is a town that should be visited whilst in the area with the Montgo Mountain and its ancient castle. This is a very historical part of the Costa Blanca and as such, has wealth of monuments and places of historical interest. This stretch of Mediterranean coast has a large sailing history and Valencia is now the home of the America’s Cup. Luxury motor yachts and boats can be hired from Denia. Yachts from Denia Marina can be taken down to areas such as Altea which is a great place to visit but also across to the Balearic Islands of Majorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
