Supernaturals the American drama/horror television series starring Jared Padalecki  and Jensen Ackles , brothers who hunt demons and other figures of the paranormal is back with season 5. The series began with the brothers losing their mother in a fire accident with supernatural elements which makes their father to hunt down the creature which caused his wife’s death. He brings his sons on the road with him , training them to fight evil but Sam leaves them to attend college at Stanford University while Dean stayed with his father. When their father disappears the brother’s join hands and travel around the country investigating paranormal events and other unexplained events.

Season 5 is rumoured to be the last season in the series , due to Eric Kripke’s statement that he had originally planned for the show to run for five sesons. Jensen Ackles mentioned that Season four would be the last but due to the higher ratings he was signed for the fifth season. Despite this Jensen and Jared have contracts for the sixth season if CW chooses to once again pick up the show.
