A Holyhead cruise is now a growing possibility for more cruise liner passengers sailing UK, Ireland and North European waters. Holyhead on Anglesey is a major passenger ferry port linking Britain to Dublin, Ireland. Major infrastructure redevelopment has boosted its attraction as a destination for ever larger cruise ships from the established European cruise lines. Use of a former aluminium smelter jetty will allow cruise liners of at least 85,000 tonnes to berth at the Anglesey port, where passengers can visit the town and many other historic attractions across the island.
