The greatest killer of a Terran defense is perhaps the Zerg Guardian. This flying unit has the ability to escape any attacks from tanks. It also has a huge range that allows it to easily hit bunkers and missile turrents. In order to beat a guardian, you must have your own air defenses in your arsenal if you hope to defeat them. Unless your enemy has mutalisks or overlords nearby, an excellent Terran strategy is to use cloaked wraiths. Another great choice are battle cruisers, however they are very costly and will need to receive a lot of training.

Another great weapon that can be used against the zerg guardians are science vessels with irradiate. You can irradiate clusters of mutalisks and guardians to cause massive damage. Stimmed marines and goliaths can also be used to battle guardians that are over land.
