The Grand Jury of EUROPEANS(and I guess a few New Worlders) released the overall/AVERAGE qualitative placement of individual chateaux over the 5 years(5 separate vintages) of blind tastings: Here's some fat to chew on: 1.Pavie 2.Ausone 3.La Mondotte 4.Haut Condissas 5.Valandraud 6.Reignac 7.Pape Clement 8.Canon-La-Gaffeliere 9.Beau-Sejour-Becot 10.Monbousquet 17.Margaux 18.Bon Pasteur 19. Quinault 21.Mouton Rothschild 24.Lafite Rothschild Petrus and Cheval Blanc didn't even crack the top 93 chateaux.....obviously I am not surprised St. Emilion did so well...8 of the first 10 chateaux are Michel Rolland clients...fascinating results
