German translator: Berlin Has Become Party C Follow

Forget Amsterdam with its coffee houses and red light district.  And Paris is nice for romance and cuisine.  But according to our German translators, Berlin is by far the happening place for nightlife.  Whether you like night clubs, bars, coffee houses or outdoor cafes, Berlin offers something for everyone.  From punk clubs in Kreuzberg to black tie piano bars on Kudamm, you will find it all here.  And, if you are not a night owl, consider spending the afternoon sitting at the Café Kanzler and enjoying some people-watching.  This café, situated in the shadow of Ka De We, the largest department store in Western Europe, was formerly one of the highlights for visitors to West Berlin and the subject of many post cards.  No matter what you choose to do in Berlin, one thing you must do is enjoy.  Enjoy the history, a traditional German meal, the beer specific to Berlin, Berliner Weisse Red or Green, and enjoy watching the people.  And the people of Berlin are an amazing spectacle of extremes, not unlike the city itself.
