IL S'ÉTAIT un peu endormi après son installation en 1995 au musée d'Orsay. Le public ne réagissait plus guère devant ce très réaliste sexe féminin de 46 × 45 cm qui lui avait été pourtant caché dès sa composition, en 1866. Mais aujourd'hui L'Origine du monde trouve une vigueur nouvelle...
