The 4th International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Applications, Taipei : Taiwan (2009) Assisted Living Service Identification Based on Activity Patterns Thi Bich Thanh Truong 1, Florent De Lamotte 1, Jean-Philippe Diguet 1, Farida Saïd-Hocine 2 (03/12/2009) In this paper, we present a scenario identification, based on two complementary algorithms, to offer scenarios self-adapting to user capabilities according to the analysis of user's habits. These habits are observed through the user demand on existing home automation and multimedia systems, without any sensors. A simulation model is developed for the generation of user database without waiting for months monitoring user activities. The simulation results allow us to evaluate our approach and to show a proactive solution for improving the user autonomy while facilitating their use of daily services. 1 : Laboratoire des sciences et techniques de l'information, de la communication et de la connaissance (Lab-STICC) CNRS : UMR3192 – Université de Bretagne Occidentale - Brest – Université de Bretagne Sud – Institut Télécom – Télécom Bretagne – Université européenne de Bretagne – Institut Supérieur des Sciences et Technologies de Brest (ISSTB) 2 : Laboratoire de Mathématiques et Applications des Mathématiques, EA 3885 (LMAM) Université de Bretagne Sud
